Levies and Bonds

School districts rely on voter-approved funding measures to bridge the gap between what the state funds and what it costs to support Vashon Island School District students.
Through approved funding measures by the Vashon community, VISD has been able to provide technology to all students, build a new high school, employ classified and certificated staff beyond what the state pays for, and provide social-emotional and academic support for students to graduate confident and competent to thrive in a future they imagine.
